After decades of exploring emerging technologies—from virtual reality and immersive environments to artificial intelligence—Robbie became increasingly interested in a simple question:
How can technology become easier, safer, and more accessible for everyone?
That question led to the creation of Empathium Guardian.
Empathium Guardian is an exploration of technology designed around human needs rather than system demands. Its goal is to help people navigate increasingly complex digital environments while preserving autonomy, privacy, and real human connection.
Rather than focusing on technology for its own sake, Robbie’s work explores how tools can adapt to individual people, cognitive styles, abilities, and circumstances.
His projects draw on experiences in military service, international travel, neurodiversity advocacy, immersive technology, and years of studying how people interact with systems.
Today, Robbie lives in Spain and continues to explore ways technology can become more understandable, more accessible, and more supportive of human flourishing.
Because technology should adapt to people—not the other way around.
